According to TVGuide.com, stage veteran Jamie Lynn-Sigler is set to star in the season finale of Lifetime's 'Drop Dead Diva.' Sigler will play a woman with cardiac disease in the episode, which airs September 18.
Sigler spent five months on Broadway from October 2002 through February 2003 playing Belle in Beauty and the Beast where she replaced long-running Belle Sarah Litzsinger. She also starred in Off-Broadway's Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Sigler is best known for her role as Meadow Soprano on the HBO television series The Sopranos.
Drop Dead Diva is an American legal comedy-drama/fantasy television series that debuted on Lifetime on July 12, 2009. The hour-long series, which was created by Josh Berman, is produced by Sony Pictures Television. The series stars Brooke Elliott as Jane, a plus size woman whose body is inhabited by the soul of a fashion model. It airs Sundays at 9/8c on Lifetime.
