In a new interview with Radio Times magazine, James Corden, who will soon be seen in the role of 'The Baker' in the big screen adaptation of INTO THE WOODS, spoke about his plans as the new host of CBS's LATE LATE SHOW. The British comedian was recently named the replacement for former host Craig Ferguson and will take his place behind the Late Late Show desk this March.

Says the Tony winner, "We don't just want to do chat, we want to do skits, songs and sketches. It might be the best thing I do, it might be the worst."

The 36-year-old also revealed he has spoken to former CNN host Piers Morgan, about making the transition from British audiences to American viewers. "He just said, 'Go for it and give it your best shot, but know that this is a piece of television real estate that Americans feel a sense of ownership over and they will come for you. There will be criticism, either way, whatever you do.'"

However, Morgan also added that despite being fired from his hosting gig, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. "'Piers said, 'I loved it so much and you will love it, and you've got to go for these things, however scared you are.'"
