The cast and creative team are in place for the June premiere of Ken Ferrigni's OCCUPATION, directed by Joe Jung and produced by Project: Theater.

The cast features James Chen (We Need to Talk About Kevin with Tilda Swinton; The New Testament, Summer Shorts at 59E59); Eugene Douglas (Sun Ra at Soho Rep); Jonathan Hopkins (The Sneeze at the Pearl); Heather Kelley (Don Carlos, Prospect Theater Company; member NY Neo-Futurists); Jennifer Logue (Caroline's on Broadway); and Alexandra Perlwitz (Mangella with Project: Theater).

The set designers are J.J. Bernard & Francois Portier (The Secretaries by The Five Lesbian Brothers, Mangella with Project: Theatre). Adam Carpenter is lighting designer. The costume designer is Matt Hamilton. Nick Borisjuk (production sound for Pippen on Broadway) is sound designer. The fight director is Joie Bauer.

In 2017, a crushing national debt, skyrocketing inflation, and crippling unemployment have frozen the United States' access to global credit. Against the backdrop of economic catastrophe, the US government finds an unexpected savior when China purchases Florida for $5 trillion. But there is a radical, violent insurgency holed up in the Everglades attempting to oust the Chinese proconsul and his army. How far will this militia go to keep the States united?

OCCUPATION, written by Ken Ferrigni and directed by Joe Jung, begins performances on Thursday, June 6 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 23. Press opening is Wednesday, June 12 at 8 PM. The performance schedule is Wednesday - Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM, Sunday at 2 PM. Please note there is no performance on Sunday, June 9 but an added performance on Monday, June 10 at 8 PM. There is no matinee performance on Saturday, June 15. OCCUPATION is produced by Project: Theater. Performances are at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).
