Hugh Jackman was immortalized in cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood on April 21. The Tony Award-winner, and star of the upcoming film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," had his hand and foot prints imprinted in the famous sidewalk.

Jay Leno provided an introduction to the occasion, and Jackman reminisced that when he and his wife first arrived in Los Angeles a dozen years ago, the famous theater was the first lankmark they visited.

"It's a very humbling moment as an actor to be here. You look down at the names, from Fred Astaire to Cary Grant, Clint Eastwood, Al Pacino, Steve McQueen, John Wayne, and to think that those people have been immortalized and pretty soon I'll be putting my hands in wet cement," Jackman said.

Jackman, whose new film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" opens May 1st, recently annouced he will donate $100,000 to charity. Jackman will utilize his Twitter.com page to allow individuals to submit their most worthwhile non-profit charities for consideration.

Jackman writes on his official Twitter page: "I will donate 100K to one individual's favourite non profit organisation. Of course, you must convince me why by using 140 characters or less. "The more passion shown for your charity the better! Get the support of your friends and teach them the importance of giving."

In 2000, Hugh Jackman was cast as Wolverine in Bryan Singer's X-Men. Jackman later reprised his role in 2003's X2: X-Men United, and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand.
