Jack Noseworthy, who recently appeared at the Delacorte Theatre in
Mother Courage, will make his solo nightclub debut with "You Don't Know Jack!" at The Metropolitan Room on Tuesday, September 19 at 10:00 pm and Wednesday, September 20 at 7:00pm.
The evening will offer the chance to "get to know Jack through an intimate and fun musical journey, sharing the songs he loves," state press materials.
Noseworthy can currently be seen in the independent feature
Poster Boy (OutFest LA Best Screenplay Award). This summer, he shared the stage with
Meryl Streep and
Kevin Kline in
Mother Courage, directed by
George C. Wolfe. His Broadway credits include the original company of
Jerome Robbins' Broadway and the final company of
A Chorus Line, for which he has the distinction of being the last person to be hired for the show. In 2002, Noseworthy starred opposite
John Lithgow, Brian d'Arcy James and Kelli O'Hara in
Sweet Smell Of Success. He also played the title role in
Pippin at Paper Mill Playhouse. Film and TV credits include
Encino Man, Alive, U-571, MTV's "Dead at 21," "Elvis," and "Law & Order: SVU," and "Judging Amy."
"You Don't Know Jack!" will be directed by
Gary Griffin (Broadway's
The Color Purple), with musical direction by
Michael Lavine.
Jayson Raitt will produce the evening.
