Tonight, Jersey Boys will dim the lights on their marquee in honor of Michael Lyons. Below is a note from the company:

"We mourn the loss of our friend and colleague, stagehand Michael Lyons who passed away this Wednesday at the age of 47.

Mike was a beloved member of the Jersey Boys family and the Broadway community. He worked as an electrician on Jersey Boys from the day it opened over 8 years ago. "Uncle Mike" was a real fixture in our neighborhood, warmly befriending everyone that crossed his path.

Mike attended George Washington University and served in the Army working in Intelligence. He began his Broadway career on the original Studio 54 production of Cabaret and came to work full time at the Wilson Theatre in 2005 on Little Women. In addition to Broadway, Mike also spent much of his time working at ABC studios on Good Morning America and Michael & Kelly. Outside of the theater, scuba diving and golf were two of Mike's great passions.

He will be sorely missed by those of us that worked with him in the industry as well as those whose lives he touched."
