JERSEY BOYS' Mike Doyle to Star in Thriller THE LAST WORD

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Mike Doyle (Jersey Boys) will star in Simon Rumley's upcoming paranormal thriller THE LAST WORD, alongside Erin Cummings and Sean Patrick Flanery.

THE LAST WORD follows the fate of the participants of a trial for a man wrongly convicted for the rape and murder of a nun in Texas. Before his execution, the man curses all those involved in his death. When the curse begins affecting his son, one of the jurors (Doyle) attempts to prove that the man (Flanery) was wrongly convicted.

The movie started filming this week in Louisiana.

Doyle just finished filming as 'Bob Crewe' for Clint Eastwood's film adaptation of the musical Jersey Boys. You're Not You is also among his upcoming projects. He has appeared on the small screen in The Mentalist, Shameless, 666 Park Avenue, The Good Wife, A Gifted Man, Lights Out, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, In Treatment, Oz and more.
