J Balvin Brings ENERGÍA Tour to the Theater at Madison Square Garden

The Madison Square Garden Company and AEG have announced that global reggaeton ambassador J Balvin will perform at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 8:00PM, as part of his Energía Tour. Tickets are on sale now to the general public.

Hailing from Medellín, Colombia, José Álvaro Osorio Balvin, better known to a legion of global fans as J Balvin, has become the undeniable leader of a second-generation reggaeton revolution, propelling urban music back to the forefront of Latin music worldwide. Balvin's distinctive style pays reverence to the first-wave reggaeton stars from a decade ago and is fused with additional Colombian and mainstream hip-hop rhythms.

Between his game-changing, major-label debut album "La Familia," its expanded B Sides collection and global smash hit "Energía," Balvin has quickly notched seven number one Latin singles. Upon its release, the "Energía" album debuted at number one on the iTunes charts in 16 different countries.
