Broadway talents including Mallory Bechtel (Dear Evan Hansen), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Isaac Powell (Once on This Island), and Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls) complete the lineup for the next installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, honoring the English singer-songwriter Adele. Current cast members from Broadway shows including Come From Away, King Kong, and The Book of Mormon will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of the award winning singer, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations of her music.
Also featured in the March 4 lineup are Nick Rashad Burroughs (King Kong), Kayla Davion (King Kong), Matt Doyle (The Book of Mormon), Brennyn Lark (Les Miserables), Tamika Lawrence (Come From Away), Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen), Corey Mach (Kinky Boots), Mary Kate Morrissey (Wicked), Abby Mueller (Beautiful), Wesley Taylor (SpongeBob SquarePants), Zurin Villaneuva (Mean Girls) and Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture).
The concert will give tribute to the soulful young singer and her acclaimed repertoire, including "Hello", "Someone Like You", "Rolling in the Deep" and "When We Were Young". The music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.
With sales of more than 100 million records, Adele is one of the world's best-selling music artists of all time. She has received 15 Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards, an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for "Skyfall", and holds a whopping 11 Guinness World Records.
Broadway Sings Adele, produced and directed by Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked), will celebrate the talent and success of this award-winning artist. Previous singers honored in the series include Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, The Beatles, Rihanna, and most recently John Legend.
