Former Chairman Greenspan's rhetorical question catalyzed worldwide economic slumps, and "irrational exuberance" became a symbol of the overvalued markets that preceded the current recession. In Irrational Exuberance: A Recession Art Show, artists examine seemingly rational systems of mass belief or delusion.

Whitney V. Hunter, presents Self-Portrait for his M.F.A Thesis at Long Island University's Humanities Gallery (Brooklyn Campus) on view from May 2 - 8.
The introspective installation seeks to create a narrative on the subject of personal and physical growth through the use of sculptural and digital video and audio techniques. Opening reception May 2, 6-9pm.

We are very pleased to launch our first Invisible Dog Theater Residency series. Four companies, chosen by the the Invisible Dog through a competitive application process, will take over our new basement theater for 2 to 4 weeks, engaging the unique topography of our site with unconventional theater pieces that mine the interrelation between past and present.
