Inproximity Theatre Company To Present The Second Annual PROJECT W THEATRE FESTIVAL  Image InProximity Theatre Company (Jolie Curtsinger, Laurie Schaefer Fenton, Co-Artistic Directors) will present the second annual PROJECT W Theatre Festival at Town Stages (221 West Broadway Street), June 4-9, 2018. Tickets are FREE to attend but reservations are strongly recommended. More information can be found at www.inproximitytheatre.org.

PROJECT W Theatre Festivalis a celebration of women in theatre from both the creative and business aspects. This muliti-day play reading festival features new plays, written, directed and mananged exclusivly by professional women in theatre.

PROJECT W Theatre Festival is currently seeking submissions for contemporary non-musical plays written by women and female-identifying writers. Plays should be production-ready or very close. They cannot have had more than one professional production in the US and must not have been produced or had a highly publicized reading in NYC.

Send PDF and any production or reading history of your piece to info@inproximitytheatre.org by April 2, 2018. Selections will be made by the first week of May.

During its inaugural festival Project W featured plays by Sara Bierstock, Barbara Blumenthal-Ehrlich, Amy Fox, Alyson Mead and Danielle Mohlman, directed by Suzanne Agins, Pamela Berlin, Shelley Butler, Maureen Monterubio and Stephanie Sertich.
