On Monday, February 14th, 2006, twelve performers and friends will come together for In the Name of Love, a benefit that will take place on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 8pm at Ensemble Studio Theatre (549 West 52nd, between 10th and 11th Avenue, on the 2nd floor).

The performers will lend their talents to raising money for God's Love We Deliver, a charity whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. The cast of In the Name of Love will include Michael Backes (national tours of Footloose and Grease), Danny Calvert, (recently from the off-broadway hit Altar Boyz), Seth Sikes (Fame on 42nd Street), Eric Shorey (national tour of Cats), Caissie Levy (Hairspray), Matt Morgan (Hairspray), and Noreen Crayton, Sahirah Johnson, Miles Johnson, Veronica Reyes, Rebecca Pace, and Damien DeShaun Smith (all from the national tour of Rent).

Presented by R&R Productions, which is comprised of Veronica Reyes and Jesse Edward Rosbrow, the night "will prove to be an incredible evening of entertainment as we hear twelve people tell their touching true stories of love, and sing their faces off," according to press notes. Adam Gwon will serve as music director and Ryan J. Davis will be the benefit's director.
