'In The Heights' Cast To Appear On Sirius This Weekend

SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) will present special programming on its Broadway's Best channel throughout the weekend to celebrate the Tony Awards®.  The cast of In The Heights, this year's most Tony-nominated show, will open the celebration.  SIRIUS' Tony Awards weekend broadcast will culminate in live coverage of the Tony Awards ceremony on Broadway's Best channel 77.
 
The composer and cast of In The Heights, which received thirteen Tony-nominations, including "Best Musical," will guest star on Seth Rudetsky's Studio A Cabaret on Friday, June 13 at 9 pm ET, with encore broadcasts to air on Saturday, June 14 at 3 pm, Sunday June 15 at 1 pm and Monday, June 16 at 8 pm (all times Eastern).
 
Seth Rudetsky and Christine Pedi will host a special edition of their weekly show, Dueling Divas: Live on Broadway, featuring a pre-Tony broadcast with their predictions and commentary on this year's ceremony on Sunday, June 15 starting at 7 pm ET.  Front-row coverage of the Tony Awards will be broadcast live starting at 8 pm ET.
 
SIRIUS' programming dedicated to the Tony Awards will also include a count-up covering 60 years of Tony Award-winning show tunes, starting from 1947's Finian's Rainbow up to 2007's Spring Awakening on the Broadway's Best channel.  Back-to-back broadcasts of these six decades of award winning songs will begin on Friday, June 13 at 5 pm ET, with encore broadcasts to air on Saturday, June 14 at 9 pm, Sunday, June 15 at 9 am and 4 pm and Monday, June 16 at 2 pm (all times Eastern).
 
Seth Rudetsky, multi-talented actor, comedian and musician can be heard every day on Broadway's Best.  Seth hosts Broadway's biggest stars in SIRIUS' studios on Seth Rudetsky's Studio A Cabaret for an hour of music, conversation, backstage gossip and unconfirmed rumors each Friday at 7 pm ET.  Christine Pedi, the other half of the Dueling Divas team, reports the hottest Broadway news in her Broadway Buzz reports, delivered every hour throughout the week.  Together, Seth and Christine team up for Dueling Divas, six hours of Broadway chatter, opinions and celebrity guests on Saturday mornings at 9 am ET.
 
Broadway's Best puts SIRIUS listeners front row center for the greatest show tune hits sung by the stars of the musical stage, bringing Broadway to every street in America.  The channel features songs and interviews from the biggest stars of musical theater, including Nathan Lane, Bernadette Peters, Julie Andrews, Patti LuPone, Hugh Jackman, Harvey Fierstein, Liza Minnelli, Barbra Streisand, Carol Channing and many others.
