In Performance Video: Christina Bianco Performs from APPLICATION PENDING

This week's New York Times In Performance video features actress Christina Bianco in a scene from Application Pending, a one-woman off-Broadway comedy about an elite New York City private school. Known for her work as animpressionist, the comedian plays the school's kindergarten admissions director in addition to over 40 other characters.

In the scene below, she fields calls from Broadway-savvy parents eager to have their children attend the school.

The new Off-Broadway comedy 'Application Pending is playing at TheWestside Theatre from January 26th to April 19th.

APPLICATION PENDING is directed by Andy Sandberg (The Last Smoker in America) and features scenic design by Colin McGurk, costume design by Tony Award nominee Michael McDonald(Hair), lighting design by Tony Award winner Jeff Croiter (Peter and the Starcatcher), and sound design by Bart Fasbender (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson).
