Improv 4 Kids, the educational outreach and family programming from Eight Is Never Enough comedy troupe, will add matinees (almost daily) to the calendar for families looking for activities during the 2015 winter break. 3pm Shows - Saturdays 3pm throughout the Winter Break week at the Broadway Comedy Club (318 West 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019) - are a great destination for the whole family and popular with area scout groups and vacation camps. Since 2003, EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH has presented over 4000 Improv 4 Kids performances in Times Square and traveling nationwide to schools, camps, non-profits and private events (Kids Day at the office, Bar Mitzvahs, Birthday Parties). Every show is unique as the cast creates original songs and scenes based on audience suggestions and participation. Bring your cameras (Video OK too!) to catch your future stars.

Every Saturday morning the company presents public comedy classes for kids, teens and adults. Every week students play warm-up, technique and performance games designed to develop valuable life skills (Public Speaking, Team, Respect, Focus, Listening, Eye Contact, Self Confidence, Self-Respect).

Weekday mornings the troupe hosts student field trips from schools and camps. Improv Shows and Workshops support cultural arts, language arts and character building program as well as being a fun destination for 1000s of students every year. The touring company also travels to K-12 schools nationwide for assemblies, workshops and residencies.

"We never set out to create our educational division at the beginning," says Artistic Director, Walt Frasier. "But it soon became our mission to help fill the void created by the extreme focus on test-taking preparation that leaves little room for teaching people skills. These days, the ability to communicate is one of the most valuable assets entering the work force. Comedy is the most fun way to teach these skills."

EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH regularly performs at corporate events and colleges. Saturdays 8pm they present LMAO OFF BROADWAY for the 18 & over crowd.
