Comix at Foxwoods welcomes The Tenderloins, stars of truTV's Impractical Jokers "Where's Larry" Tour for a special two-night two-show stand-up event at The Grand Theater at Foxwoods on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.

The Tenderloins are the creators, executive producers, writers and stars of truTV's hit show, "Impractical Jokers." Currently the foursome is touring nationwide with its "truTV Impractical Jokers "Where's Larry" Tour," a mix of stand-up, never-before-seen hidden camera videos, stories and insight into the making of Impractical Jokers.

Natives of Staten Island, NY, Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto, James Murray and Brian Quinn met while attending high school, and later formed "The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe" in 1999.

After years of performing live improv and sketch comedy shows in theatres, clubs and festivals across the country, The Tenderloins crossed over to the web, garnering millions of views for their Internet sketches. At the height of MySpace's popularity, The Tenderloins were ranked #1 out of over 120,000 comedian accounts.

They went on to win the $100,000 grand prize of NBC's, "It's Your Show," a sketch comedy competition show, hosted by Carson Daly. After winning, The Tenderloins landed a single-camera, scripted sitcom pilot with Spike TV, which was based on the guys' real lives. They also had pilots with A&E, TBS, CMT and VH1, as well as their own independently produced sitcom pilot, which was an official New York Television Festival selection.

If you're not familiar with truTV's "Impractical Jokers," it's a very simple concept: Four comedians and lifelong friends compete to embarrass each other out amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares.

This hidden-camera series follows four lifelong friends - Brian "Q" Quinn, James "Murr" Murray, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano - who take dares to an outrageous level. Since they were young, the hilarious quartet has challenged one another to do ridiculous dares in public.

On the show, to find out who is best under pressure, the guys compete in awkward and outrageous hidden-camera hijinks. At the end of each episode, the loser must perform what is deemed to be the most-mortifying challenge yet.

When Sal, Joe, Q, and Murr challenge each other to say or do something, they have to do it. If they refuse, they lose. At the end of every episode, the biggest loser must endure a punishment of epic proportions.

Impractical Jokers, which is in its 7th season, can be seen on truTV Thursdays at 10/9C.
