Works by African-American Master Artists and their Contemporaries will grace The Faison Firehouse Theater in Harlem. Free and open to the public beginning Friday, October 4th & 5th, (Sunday October 6th by appointment)
Charles White, J'Accuse No.3 unseen by the public for over 40 years. Charles W. White is one of America's most renowned and recognized African-American artists and among the most successful artist at public auction of African-American decent.
Featured artist, Najee Dorsey, is Founder / CEO of Black Art in America (BAIA). Black Art in America is the leading online social network focused on African-American art. Najee is also an accomplished visual artist -- now preparing for his 2014 solo show at the Columbus Museum of Art in Columbus, Georgia, entitled "Leaving Mississippi: Reflections on Heroes and Folklore". Philadelphia Daily News called Dorsey's contemporary work "a highlight of the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show" (2012).
