Immersive Experience FOUND FOOTAGE Comes To Governors Island Image

From the creators of last season's sold-out immersive experience THE VISITATION comes FOUND FOOTAGE, an immersive theater installation about the mysterious disappearance of a TV filming crew, opening on Governors Island October 19th.

Audiences are invited to House 403 at Colonels Row on Governors Island to examine the disappearance of the five crew members for Ghost Watch, a paranormal investigation show. Across the first floor, audiences can view the footage taken by the crew, looping on TV monitors in the very same rooms it was shot - footage both from the show itself, and what was captured behind-the-scenes. As the audience ascends to upper floors, more secrets are revealed...

This is a free public event with open hours on the following dates and times:

Fri 10/19: 1-5pm
Sat 10/20-Sun 10/21: 1-6pm
Thu 10/25-Fri 10/26: 1-5pm
Sat 10/27-Sun 10/28: 1-6pm
Wed 10/31: 1-5pm

The installation is recommended for ages 16+.

Governors Island is accessible by a quick ferry ride from Manhattan each day of the week. Ferries to and from Brooklyn also run during the weekend. For more information, go to www.witnessimmersive.com.
