Co-creators, Iliana Inocencio and Nicole Pasquale will premiere their Chaplin inspired series, "Pair of Pears," at Videology in Brooklyn on Sunday, March 16th at 7pm.

The event, hosted by PUNDERDOME 3000's, Jo Firestone, will screen all five episodes in the series, and include games, prizes, and live performances by the Pears themselves.

"Pair of Pears" is directed by Steve Theiss, edited by Angel Yau, and includes a roster of talented New York comedians both behind the scenes, and in front of the camera.

"Pair of Pairs" is a silent series that is a throwback to the comedy stylings of the early 20th Century. It follows two loveable Pears as they experience New York City. It invites the audience to take part in their timeless and magical adventures. The Pears' mission statement is: "To promote pears, friendship, and the pursuit of happiness." The series is fun, silly, and appeals to an audience of all ages.

Inocencio and Pasquale met almost 6 years ago working at Disney. They found they had much in common besides the workplace. They both studied at conservatory theater programs and found themselves in the same ambitious comedy world at The People's Improv Theater and Upright Citizens Brigade. Inocencio and Pasquale dreamt up the Pears after searching for the most perfect (and warmest) Halloween costume. Slowly but surely, the combination of their newfound costumes, love of puns, and mutual respect for classic Buster Keaton-type films, gave birth to "Pair of Pears."

Inocencio and Pasquale are currently working on turning "Pair of Pears" into a television pilot and a children's book series.

When the Pears we're asked for a few words for this article, they simply smiled and scrawled down some words on a piece of paper. It read: "We hope you're at the pear-miere! Love, Pear & Pear"

"Pair of Pears" will premiere on Sunday, March 16th at 7:00pm at Videology. Videology is located at 308 Bedford Ave #1, Brooklyn, NY 11249. Admission to the event is FREE.
