Idina Menzel, Tyne Daly, Zach Braff & Nick Cordero Set for Next Week's THE TALK

CBS's THE TALK, recently nominated for five Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host, will return to New York City for the second time this season for a week of episodes, to be broadcast Monday, May 12 - Friday, May 16 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET/1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT), on the CBS Television Network. Hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler will shoot on location in New York, originating from Chelsea Studios.

THE TALK features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who examine current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, how-to demos and appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.

CBS Daytime has been #1 in the day-part for 27 consecutive years, featuring a balance of dramas, game shows and talk. The Network's daytime lineup includes television's #1 daytime program and longest-running game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT, the #1 daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, THE TALK, as well as The Bold and the Beautiful and LET'S MAKE A DEAL.

Recently, CBS swept the 2014 Daytime Emmy Nominations with 60 nods. CBS Daytime's entire entertainment lineup was honored, with The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful both receiving nominations for Outstanding Drama Series. The Talk was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host; THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET'S MAKE A DEAL were both nominated for Outstanding Game Show; and LET'S MAKE A DEAL host Wayne Brady was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host.
