Ice Theatre Of New York Awarded Two $10,000 Grants In Recovery Funding
The responsive funding of NYSCA is providing nearly 1000 organizations with over $13 million in recovery support in FY23.

Ice Theatre of New York has received two Regrowth and Capacity grants of $10,000 each from the New York State Council on the Arts. These grants will support the organization's rehiring of a Development Coordinator and Director of Outreach to continue new virtual programming and resume live events as they progress in their ongoing recovery from pandemic challenges.
The responsive funding of NYSCA is providing nearly 1000 organizations with over $13 million in recovery support in FY23, as part of their historic FY93 $90 million in grant making and $150 million in multi-year capital support.
"This unprecedented funding continues our investment into the vital role that the arts contribute to the health of our economy, our communities and our citizens," said Governor Kathy Hochul. "As we continue our comeback, we applaud the strength and innovation of arts organizations across the state and are all the better for their hard work and dedication."

(Founder/Artistic Director)-Named one of the 25 Most Influential Names in Figure Skating by International Figure Skating Magazine, Moira has been a driving force in the development of figure skating as a performing art. Since founding ITNY in 1984, she has developed ITNY's professional ice dance ensemble, has commissioned renowned dance choreographers to make new works for the company, has worked to integrate contemporary dance into ice dance, and has inspired the founding of dance companies on ice in other parts of the world.
