The Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter (the Chapter) is now selling tickets to today's (April 23, 2015) benefit performance of Broadway's It Shoulda Been You. This hilarious and heartwarming new musical is a culture clash for the ages when two families from wildly different backgrounds come together to celebrate a wedding.
It Shoulda Been You stars a host of esteemed Broadway veterans. Tyne Daly and Harriet Harris headline a cast that includes Sierra Boggess, Lisa Howard, David Burtka, Montego Glover, Chip Zien, Edward Hibbert, and Josh Grisetti.
David Hyde Pierce, who lost both his father and grandfather to Alzheimer's disease, makes his Broadway directorial debut. Proceeds will benefit the Chapter.
The performance will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre in midtown Manhattan and will be followed by a private post-performance dinner with David Hyde Pierce and members of the cast at 9:45 p.m. at Pigalle for those who have purchased tickets to both the performance and dinner.
Curtain rises promptly at 7:00 p.m.; Dinner (for those who purchase at the $300 ticket level) follows at 9:45 p.m. The performance runs at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre: 256 West 47th Street (between Broadway & 8th Ave in Manhattan). A private post-performance dinner with the cast will take place at Pigalle, 790 8th Ave. (corner of 48th St. in Manhattan).
Tickets: $300 Show & Dinner includes best available ticket plus Post-Performance Dinner with cast members and director, David Hyde Pierce ($245 - tax deductible); $125 Show Only includes best available ticket, no Post- Performance Dinner ($79 - tax deductible).
