For seven performances for the week ending Sunday, 10/13/13, BETRAYAL grossed $1,112,027, breaking its previous house record of $1,100,818 for seven performances in its first week of performance. The prior house record for the Barrymore was set by DEATH OF A SALESMAN, which grossed $1,066,582.41, for the week ending 6/2/12. The Tony Award-winning Broadway hit MATILDA THE MUSICAL has broken the house record at the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street), grossing $1,430,084.50 over eight performances for the week ending October 13, 2013. And, THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has broken the house record of Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre for the 45th time. The show earned $1,844,549.00 for the week ending Sunday, October 13, in the 1,068-seat O'Neill, one of Broadway's smallest theatres.
