Tonight on American Idol the remaining 9 took on the songs of The Beatles. Before the performances began the results from the sing-off were announced and Aubrey will be joining the tour this summer.

Kree was the first one to sing and she decided to sing With a Little Help from My Friends. She gave it her sound and slowed it up a little bit. It was a good rendition of the classic song. She won't have any problem moving onto next week.

New Orleans Burnell was up next and he sang Let it Be. This is my favorite Beatles song so of course I had high expectations. I have also always appreciated the gospel versions of this song and Burnell was able to give it that sound. He gave a great performance to a classic song.

Singing She's Leaving Home, Amber was the next one to show America her talent. I was not familiar with this song but she was superb. Amber just learned the song as well so that too was quite impressive. The judges really enjoyed the performance as well.

Lazaro decided to sing In My Life and it was not his best performance. He was very flat throughout the song and to me it was quite an unforgettable version of a great song. He received quite a few critiques from the judges.

Candice took on Come Together and it was excellent. The judges agreed. I think Candice has a good shot at being in the finale.

Paul was next and he sang a song that I was not familiar with. I really do like his voice but I find a hard time being truly entertained by his performances. This one was no different.

Angie decided to sing Yesterday and she did so beautifully. Again it was a song that I don't really know but it didn't matter. It was an exceptional performance. Being compared to Hayley from Paramore by Randy, I think Angie will go far.

The Long and Winding Road was the song choice for Devin. I think he has a lovely voice and he gave a good performance. The judges enjoyed it as well saying that this performance has brought him back into the competition.

Last but not least was Janelle and she gave a pretty good performance. Singing a slower song than what we are used to I feel like this performance really showed off her voice.

Tune in tommorow night when the remaining 9 perform and one more person is eliminated.
