A long week of interviews, red carpets and rehearsals separated last weeks elimination with this one. With only a short time until the Idol winner is crowned, the competition gets even hotter. Tonight we said goodbye to yet another contestant.

The first performance of the night belonged to the top four singing Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. This is definitely the right group to be in the top 4. They sounded fantastic together.

After learning about each contestant in a rapid fire manner, it was time to begin to learn everyone's fate. Ryan brought Amber center stage to recap her night and then had her sit back down. Kree was next and Jimmy agreed with Keith's comments saying that Kree was unable to redeem herself with her second performance.

Stefano, who we met on the 10th season, returned to the Idol stage tonight after being signed to a record deal. This was my first encounter with Stefano and I have to say that he was pretty good. I am surprised that was eliminated so early on.

Candice was then brought to the center of the stage. Drake sent in an audio of his praises for Candice and then surprised her on stage.

Another American Idol alum Lee Dewyze made an appearance tonight. Singing Silver Lining off his album, Lee gave a great performance of a song I have never heard before.

Next were the highlights for Angie and Jimmy said that she won the night. After all of the recaps from last time it was time to reveal who would be going home. Amber was sent to the far end of the stage. Candice joined here while Kree and Angie stood together at the other end. Candice and Amber were the bottom two. Ryan revealed that no one would be going home. Next week however, 2 will be sent home.

Tune in next week when the contestants will be singing songs from "Now and Then."
