Rising Sun Performance Company (Akia, Founding Artistic Director) announced today that it will present Its 12th Season, a 21-day theatrical event at Hostelling International(891 Amsterdam Avenue at 103rd Street) October 31st thru November 27th 2013. Rising Sun is thrilled to have been invited to return to Hostelling to present their 12th Season.

Rising Sun returns to the Hostel after their 2012 site immersive specific production "Hotel Suite" which received 3 New York Innovative Theatre Award Nominations for the 2012 Season for Short Script "Greenlight" and Outstanding Lead Actor & Ensemble for Fool for Love.

During the Second Ice Age, Mark and Mary find themselves alone in a karaoke bar ruminating over love, loss, the weather, and their favorite songs
