About Megan Allen:

Megan Allen was born in the sunny state of California, but in her young age feels like a world traveler of The USA. The sultry songstress grew up with music in her soul, but with the little money she had she would use "The Body Guard" soundtrack and Whitney Houston as her vocal coach. She then moved to New York City and attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy allowing her to study everything she loved. Besides performing with The Glamz and working as a choreographer, Megan is an ally to the LGBT community and believes in equal rights for all. Another passion of hers is working with children and giving back to the community. She has worked with halfway houses and camps dedicated to caring for troubled teens and foster children. Megan is a proud Native American with strong ties to her Yakima and Umatilla tribal heritage. Having come from a rough childhood, Megan identifies with kids from the same background and her mission is to prove that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. "Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny." C.S. Lewis
