Hunger & Thirst is proud to bring the most infamous villain of classic gothic literature into the 21st century in this fresh new take on Bram Stoker's haunting novel DRACULA. Curious about how far humanity has progressed, the Count ventures to America in hopes of expanding his territory and conquering the modern-day female. Using their wits, whatever courage they have left, and of course, their smartphones, a band of friends do their best to take down the Master himself, learning along the way about the monsters in all of us, as well as the "blood is the life, the blood is the life, the blood is the life"...

The cast of DRACULA features Katie Consamus, Lynnette R. Freeman, Elise Hudson, Jordan Kaplan, Lauren Lubow, Patricia Lynn, Jordan Reeves, and
Tom Schwans (in the title role).

DRACULA has scenic design by Jonathan Cottle, costume design by Caroline Berti, lighting design by Remy M. Leelike, and sound design by Randall Benichak. The dialect coach is Lizzie King-Hall and the fight choreographer is Jordan Reeves. Heather Olmstead is the Production Stage Manager.

Hunger & Thirst Theatre was founded in 2012 by a group of artists dedicated to discovering exciting new ways to perform the classics as well as to produce contemporary works inspired by classic stories. The company gravitates towards works that express universal, timeless themes that reveal a deep, inner truth about human nature. Their previous productions include IVANOV by Anton Chekhov (2012), THE MISANTHROPE by Moliere (2013), CONTRAFACT OF FREEDOM by Alex Pappas (2014), and THE ANIMAL KINGDOM by Philip Barry (2015).
