According to Deadline, Greatest Showman duo Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson are headed back to the big screen!
Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to upcoming film Reminiscence, directed by Lisa Joy. The film will be Joy's directorial debut, having served as executive producer on Westworld. Joy also wrote the script for the film.
The film is a co-production of Kilter Films, Michael De Luca Productions and FilmNation Entertainment.
Reminiscence follows a man's journey to find the woman he loves after her mysterious disappearance. Jackman plays the role of Nicolas Bannister, a veteran living in Miami in the near future, that has been flooded by rising seas. Bannister's occupation? Offering clients the chance to relive any memory they desire. His life changes when he meets Mae (Ferguson), and they begin a passionate love affair. But when a different client's memories implicate Mae in a series of violent crimes, Bannister must delve through the dark world of the past to uncover the truth about the woman he fell for.

Jackman and Ferguson appeared on the big screen together in The Greatest Showman, as P.T. Barnum and Jenny Lind, respectively. Reminiscence is their first project together since the hit film in 2017.
