Huffman and Thoms to Join Schonfeld at Joe's Pub, 6/24

Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman and Rent film star Tracie Thoms have joined the cast of Jeremy Schonfeld's (Drift) Joe's Pub show, which will take place on Sunday, June 24.

"Jeremy Schonfeld makes his Joe's Pub debut with his singular blend of rock and theater, featuring a cast of today's top Broadway talent.  Smart and contemporary with intelligent lyrics, Schonfeld's fusion of tuneful pop, hard-edged rock, gospel, soul and blues has drawn him comparisons to Billy Joel and Jonathan Larson in the New York Times," as described in press notes.  As previously announced, the concert will also feature the talents of Shoshana Bean, Christian Campbell, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Donnie Kehr, Michael Lanning, Karla Mosley and Nikki Snelson.

A graduate of the Berklee College of Music and BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theater Workshop, Schonfeld's recent performances include B.B. King's; Lincoln Center; Symphony Space; CBGBs; Southpaw (he is also the club's only right-handed owner); The Zipper Theater (where he served as associate producer for the Unzipped Concert Series); and as an opening act for James Taylor.
