How to Save the World and Find True Love in 90 Minutes, a new musical, will close at New World Stages/Stage 5 (340 West 50th Street) on December 31st.

The show, which opened on November 12th after beginning previews on November 4th, will have played 10 previews and 57 performances.

How to Save the World... is directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.  With book and lyrics by Jonathan Karp and music by Seth Weinstein, How to Save the World... stars Michael McEachran (Little Me), Anika Larsen (All Shook Up), Nicole Ruth Snelson (Annie Get Your Gun), Stephen Bienskie (Cats), Natalie Joy Johnson (Bare) and Kevin Smith Kirkwood.  It was previously seen at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2004.

Set at the United Nations, the musical follows "a cowardly bookshop clerk, a sexy diplomat and an idealistic slacker (who) confront their deepest fears when an office romance leads to international crisis." The musical premiered in August 2004 as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.

Gattelli's credits as a choreographer include Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, Altar Boyz, and Bat Boy.

The show features sets by Beowulf Boritt, costumes by David Murin, lighting by Jeff Croiter and sound by Peter Hylenski.
