Joe The Shark and Cherry Pitz Present: DOCTOR WHO - BOOBIES IN THE TARDIS, Hotsy Totsy Burlesque's tribute to Doctor Who, at the R-Bar, 218 Bowery (between Prince and Spring) at 8pm tonight September 17th, 2013. Tickets: $10. Visit www.hotsytotsyburlesque.com; advanced tickets available on www.rbarnyc.com.

The Doctor is back!!!!! His Police Box has appeared in the Home for Wayward Girls and Fallen Women before, and The Doctor just can't seem to figure out why the Tardis keeps bringing him back. We say it just wants the Doctor to have a good time watching burlesque!

Following on the footsteps of Hotsy Totsy Burlesque's successful Doctor Who, Mad Men, Game of Thrones and Star Wars 1978 Holiday Special tribute shows, Cherry Pitz and Joe the Shark present a brand new burlesque tribute to the beloved BBC series, Doctor Who! We are New York's only episodic, monthly burlesque show featuring a different script each month and a rotating cast. Hotsy Totsy is a high camp soap opera featuring some of the best burlesque talent New York has to offer.

Hosted by award winning storyteller HANDSOME BRAD LAWRENCE as The Doctor and featuring performances by CHERRY PITZ, CUBBY HALL, NYC burlesque legend DELIRIUM TREMENS, the LIVING STATUE GALATEA, HomoErectus producer MATT KNIFE and boylesque sensation TEDDY TURNAROUND. With Rhinestone Gorilla's own KINKY DEMURE keeping everything neat and tidy on stage, and pole pole fitness instructor IVORY FOX spinning on the pole for your gogo pleasure.

Every third Tuesday of the month, you are invited to the basement of The Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women. The residents of the home need money to keep their hotel open and to buy G-strings and glitter. Sadly, the shows have had their technical difficulties and in the past as they've had to combat, zombies, gangsters, human-animal hybrids, televangelists and snake oil salesmen. The performers promise you beautiful, clothing-averse women, lots of laughs, spinning tassels, and flying underpants. So join us for Hotsy Totsy Burlesque at The Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women where the motto is "We've fallen, we can't get up, and we like it that way!"

Upcoming Shows:

Oct. 15th -- Munsters/Addams Family Wedding

Nov. 19th - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy tribute show

Dec. 17th -- The 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special Tribute Special Strikes Back
