NY, NY
SEED tells an intriguing, emotional story, exploring the themes of abandonment, poverty, class differences and distrust fueled by Harlem's struggle with the crack epidemic of the 1980s and ‘90s. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, really a brilliant piece.
Written by Radha Blank, a 2008 Public Theater Emerging Writers Group Fellow and directed by Niegel Smith, an Assistant Director of the Tony Award winning Fela!, SEED is really an unforgettable experience.
The performance will be presented in association with the Classical Theater of Harlem, an award winning theater company, as part of the 10th Annual New York City Hip-Hop Theater Festival (HHTF), a non-profit festival celebrating Hip-hop culture uniting the community through theater, dance, art and music.
