The Rewind Show is a vision we have had for as long as we have been in the business of night clubs and event planning. We are tired of the same concept that every night-club in NYC has been stuck with over the years and think that it's time to change the way to party! As we all know nothing can compare to a live performance and therefore we have created the Rewind Show! We want to bring an experience like no other by combining the live music of the 80's Rock & Roll era along with the best DJ's spinning the present hits. Every Saturday night, the Highline Ballroom will operate as a high-end night club to let people experience the Rewind Show. (http://therewindshow.com/)

NYCGigs.com presents an evening of performances by artists you should really get to know. This performance will feature Dave Diamond, a creative multi-instrumentalist who, although a drummer first, is also equally at home on guitar, bass, and drums. He has toured, recorded, or shared the stage with a diverse mix of artists and bands, including The Zen Tricksters, Bob Weir, Maceo Parker, the Wailers, Todd Rundgren, Stanley Jordan, Richie Havens, Robert Randolph, Pete Francis (Dispatch), and so many more. Among the highlights of his varied discography are two records with keyboardist Jason Crosby (Robert Randolph & the Family Band), which featured Oteil Burbridge, Derek Trucks, and Marc Quinones (all of the Allman Brothers), Leo Nocentelli (the Meters), Susan Tedeschi, Shannon McNally, Harvey S., and Marc Broussard.
Caleb Hawley, an extraordinary singer-songwriter who possess the ability both to write intricate lyrics with cutting-edge chords and to reel off lightening fast licks, all with impeccable taste and style. Receiving top honors in the prestigious New York Songwriter's Circle Contest (2008 and 2009), the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (2009), the Telluride Festival (2010), the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (2010), and Rocky Mountain Folks Fest (2011) for his songwriting, he also has a voice that placed him in the final 50 on the 2011 American Idol Season. Sharing the stage with industry greats such as Mark Cohn, Rusted Root, Dave Matthews Band, Shawn Mullins, and Edwin McCain, this diverse songwriter has written and produced three albums and toured all over the country playing sold-out venues and nationwide festivals. His latest album is We All Got Problems (2010).
Outside the Box, an original rock 'n' roll band from the Jersey Shore and New York City. The band was formed in 2004 and quickly developed into one of New Jersey's most dynamic new bands, blending classic elements of rock with a modern flare and a driving pop edge. In 2008, the band was selected as the Stone Pony Summer House Band for the following two years. Between 2007 and 2010, the group also won Asbury Music Awards for Top Young Band, Top Blues Band, and Top Keyboardist. The band released its first full-length album Bridge in July 2011.
Off the Chart, a cover band plays hits as well as original material.

To some, it must seem like this young electronic producer came out of nowhere, but those in the know have been following Emancipator since he self-released his first album, Soon It Will Be Cold Enough, at the age of 19 in 2006. His agile melodies layered over head nod-inducing, immaculately-produced beats captivated fans across the internet and across the world. Reviews of the album declared it "chill but captivating," with "fresh, clean production and sweet melodies." The disc was picked up by Japanese super-producer Nujabes, pressed in Japan, and sold 5,000 copies in the first six months. Emancipator landed a Puma sponsorship, gave an interview to Rolling Stone Japan, and even had his song “Maps” played at the Bejing Olympics.
Emancipator's second album, Safe In The Steep Cliffs (2010), blends new instrumentation and organic samples with the signature Emancipator style of clean production, silky melodies, and addictive drums. Dense layers of choirs, horns, American folk instruments such as the banjo and mandolin, violin, and some distinct Asian influences make for a playful but refined album built out of intricate tracks listeners can enjoy on as many levels as they want. Dance to it, chill out to it, immerse your mind in it.

When your parents popped in a Neil Diamond tape on repeat during long interstate road trips, you reluctantly sang along. Never thought you'd turn out to be a Diamond fan now, right? But singing along to "Sweet Caroline" and "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show" is so addictive now, you'd do anything to see Neil on stage. A band out of San Francisco can put a rest to that Diamond thirst. Super Diamond delivers a high-octane Diamond tribute show that rocks!
