This year, Herradura will be sharing its history, heritage, and passion for crafting the finest tequila with art aficionados nationwide through the "Herradura Barrel Art Collection." Leveraging its long established art platform in Mexico, Herradura invited and challenged 10 artists, in 7 cities (Miami, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco) to re-craft, transform, and reinvent a Tequila Herradura barrel into a work of art.

Caron is very excited to participate in Herradura's prestigious art program. The inspiration for Caron's barrel comes from the Herradura horseshoe, blue agave, and Aztec mythology. According to Caron, "The oak barrel is a wonderful canvas to work on because it's three dimensional. It allows me as an artist to create a very interactive piece... I want to tell a pictorial visual story of the essence of Herradura. To me, Tequila is the cultural vessel of images and myth."

Her artwork has been exhibited at the Marc Chagall Museum, Dusable Museum, Harlem Fine Arts Show, Continuum Art Fair and ARCO Madrid Art Fair. Caron's artwork is a combination of surrealism, pop, soflo superflat, and graffiti.

Moreover, her artwork is about intensity of color, curved lines, and daring patterns unified into one language. She said of her work, "My personal quest is to create art with a spirit, transforming two dimensional materials into spiritual substance. My goal is to continue to use the vocabulary of color in order to speak visually in different languages. Creating a relationship between the un-conscious and conscious mind via abstraction and symbolism.

The 10 completed barrels will make their debut during Miami Basel week in Miami Beach, FL. The Barrel Art Showcase event will be a night to remember for everyone: amazing art, great food, great music and of course great Herradura cocktails!
