A special benefit at Helen's Hideaway (169 8th Avenue between 19th and 20th Streets) will benefit former Naked Boys Singing! cast member Bill DiPaola on Tuesday, September 27th at 8 PM.

During the catastrophe that hit New Orleans with Hurricane Katrina, DiPaola and his wife, former marketing supervisor Anne DiPaola, lost their home and their livelihoods in New Orleans, LA. To help them, the cast of Naked Boys Singing! has been collecting funds to help them at their performances. Cast members, led by Gavin Esham, have put together a special one night benefit in association with Helen's Hideaway. Inaddition to cast members from Naked Boys Singing!, the evening will feature performances by Felicia Finley (Aida, the upcoming The Wedding Singer), Tally Sessions (Yank!), Julie Foldesi (Little Women), Jenny Powers (Little Women), Erin Maguire (Five Course Love), Drew Distefano (Miss Saigon, Suessical) and Chris Sloan (Joy!).

Naked Boys Singing! is a fifteen-song musical revue, produced by Jamie Cesa, Carl D. White, Hugh Hayes and Tom Smedes, directed and conceived by Robert Schrock and choreographed by Jeffry Denman. The show premiered Off-Broadway at the Actors' Playhouse on July 22, 1999. The show plays Fridays at 10:30 pm and Saturdays at 6:00 pm and 10:30 pm at The Julia Miles Theater at 424 West 55th Street until October 08, 2005, then at Dodger Stages / Stage 5 at 340 West 50th Street beginning on October 14, 2005. Tickets are sold at Telecharge.com at 212.239.6200 and at The Julia Miles Theater Box Office.
