Barbara Walters will return to ABC primetime with her popular long-running special, "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014," a two hour ABC News special highlighting some of the year's most prominent names in entertainment and pop culture. Walters will interview Oprah Winfrey, Neil Patrick Harris, Chelsea Handler, and Scarlett Johansson for the special.
Additional names will be announced shortly. The #1 most fascinating person will be revealed on the special. "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014" will air on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"I was absolutely delighted when ABC approached me to do another year of '10 Most Fascinating People'," said Walters. "I know we said last year was our last, but there are just too many fascinating people out there... and you never pass up the opportunity to interview Oprah, Neil, Chelsea, or Scarlett."
Since its first airing in 1993, "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People" has consistently been one of the highest rated specials of the year. Last year it dominated its 90 minute time period with Total Viewers and all key Adult demos, and drew its largest overall audience in three years. "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014" is executive produced by Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie. Bill Geddie also directs the program.
