In an interview with musicrooms.net out today, Anne Hathaway reveals that her next career aspirations include tackling Shakespeare and Ibsen on stage, in addition to kicking some butt on screen.  She says: "Most of the roles I'd love to play are in the theatre...Most of Shakespeare and pretty much all of Ibsen...In terms of my career, I would like to kill an alien at some point. I would like to drive a spaceship and maybe be a spy. I'd like to kick a little a*s."

Hathaway is currently represented on screen in Love and Other Drugs, co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Hathaway will be making her fifth appearance on an Academy Awards telecast. She was recently seen in "Alice in Wonderland" and currently can be seen in "Love and Other Drugs." Hathaway's other film credits include "Bride Wars," "Becoming Jane," "The Devil Wears Prada" and "The Princess Diaries." She was nominated for an Oscar in 2008 for her lead performance in "Rachel Getting Married." She also appeared as Viola in the New York Shakespeare Festival's summer 2009 production of Twelfth Night at the Delacorte Theater in New York's Central Park, opposite Audra McDonald, Raul Esparza and Julie White.
