Hatcher's Turn of the Screw Adaptation Plays Off-Bway

Jeffrey Hatcher's adaptation of the Henry James classic The Turn of the Screw will be presented from October 27th through November 12th at the Red Room (85 E. 4th St., 3rd floor). 

"The words are her own –written in her diary in faded ink on the pages of seven days.  It is a story of terror … and horror … and death," state press materials.  The show will be presented by Twenty Feet Productions.

The Turn of the Screw will be directed by Marc Silberschatz.  It will star Erin Cunningham and Tim Scott.  The production will feature sets and costumes by Mimi Maxmen, lighting by Dana Sterling and sound by John D. Ivy.

Hatcher's other plays include A Picasso and Compleat Female Stage Beauty.

The show will play: Thurs. – Sun. at 8pm.  There will be special shows: Mon.-Tues., October 30-31 and Wed., November 8 at 8pm.  Tickets are $15, and $10  for students and seniors
