The University of Hartford's The Hartt School presents "Fleeting Moments" the Spring Senior Dance Concert Friday, March 1st at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 2nd at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Theater at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford.

Fleeting Moments will take you through a mesmerizing glance of what it is like to be human, something we all know, but have a tendency to abandon. A harmonious fusion of multiple contemporary dance styles amidst original arrangements created by the students of Music Composition at the Hartt School: Benjamin Stayner, Jacob Blodgett and Joshua Stitt. Each of these composers worked diligently and passionately with the dance seniors: Cassandra Laskowski, Khris King Henry, and Mikaela Papasodero, as well as Ruby Cabbell whom will be using music by a composer outside of the University. Along with the works that the seniors choreographed, they also will be performing solos commissioned by professional, renowned choreographers: Jonathan Royse Windham, Shannon Gillen, Yoshito Sakuraba and Colin Connor. With all the amazing energy given from all ends to make these young artist's visions come alive, this eye-catching performance "Fleeting Moments" will be one of the most distinctive Senior Dance productions yet.

To purchase tickets, contact the University of Hartford Box Office at (860) 768-4228 or (800) 274-8587, or visit www.hartford.edu/tickets. Tickets will be sold for $15 the day of each performance, and $10 if you purchase in advance - with discounts for seniors, students, faculty and groups.
