Neil Patrick Harris will be the latest guest plucked from the audience for an on-stage improvised interview with celebrity interviewer Jiminy Glick in Martin Short's Fame Becomes Me.

Harris will make a guest appearance in Fame Becomes Me on December 28th.

During the run of the show, Jiminy Glick will have conducted on-stage interviews with more than 125 stars who have cumulatively won 8 Grammy Awards, 19 Tony Awards, 90 Emmy Awards, 2 Oscars, a Pulitzer Prize and an Olympic Gold Medal.  The guest list includes Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn, Jerry Seinfeld, Bette Midler, Steve Martin, Conan O'Brien, Jon Stewart, Ben Stiller, Paul Shaffer, Kathleen Turner, Sean Hayes, Neil Simon, Nathan Lane, Brian Williams, Connie Chung, David Hasselhoff, Jimmy Fallon, Regis Philbin, Jerry Springer, Susan Lucci, James Belushi, Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters, Rosie O'Donnell, Rosanne Barr, Tracey Ullman, Martha Stewart and Larry King, among others.

The show "features Short in a comic tour de force guiding us through an improbable version of his life story. Backed by a brilliant cast of top Broadway performers (who constantly steal focus from Mr. Short when he's not looking), Short's transparent play for love and attention asks the burning question, does an autobiography really have to be true?"

Fame Becomes Me is set to play its final performance at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on January 7th.  It will later embark on a national tour.  Fame Becomes Me currently stars its original cast of Short, Brooks Ashmanskas, Marc Shaiman, Capathia Jenkins, Mary Birdsong, and Nicole Parker.  It features a book by Short and Daniel Goldfarb, music by Shaiman and lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman, with additional material by Alan Zweibel.

Harris has been seen on Broadway in Assassins, Proof and Cabaret. He has also taken part in numerous other stage productions, including tick, tick...BOOM, Romeo and Juliet, Sweeney Todd and the LA transfer of Rent (in which he played Mark). He is perhaps best known for playing the title role in the  hit TV show "Doogie Howser MD," and currently appears on "How I Met Your Mother." His film credits include The Next Best Thing, Starship Troopers, The Proposition, Undercover Brother, and Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle.
