Comedian Harriet Halloway takes the stage at Gotham Comedy Club on Wednesday, November 11 in a full one-hour stand-up performance. Nationally known for her material, this event will showcase Harriet's old school inspired style. The performance begins at 8:00 PM.

Comedian and actress Harriet Halloway was born and raised in the ghettos of Manhattan's Upper East Side. As a teenager Harriet decided to leave school and accede to the beckoning lights of the stage, quickly becoming a fixture in New York's downtown burlesque scene as a performer and emcee. She soon realized that her humor was her biggest asset, which snowballed into a career as a full-time stand up comedian.

She has been a muse for artists, designers, photographers and musicians - studied with some of the most prestigious acting teachers in the world, and even starred in several music videos. She is a pin-up/editorial model, and has appeared in a number of national magazines. Paper Magazine quoted her as "on the verge of artistic renown...tomorrow's superstar today!" Most recently, Harriet finished shooting her starring role in the independent film The Louisiana Conversation with director Adam Hardman, was interviewed for a full page feature in The New York Times, and can be seen in upcoming films and T.V. appearances. She performs regularly in comedy clubs nationwide.

Harriet Halloway's one-night-only stand-up appearance takes place Wednesday, November 11 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $15.00 and are available by phone (212) 367-9000 or online at  www.gothamcomedyclub.com.
