Harold Prince, who has more Tony Awards on his mantle than any other theatre artist, will be featured in Voices of the Arts, the Kennedy Center's series of "one-on-one conversations with artists who have played a vital role in shaping our nation's cultural heritage." The Prince discussion will be presented at the Washington, D.C. performing arts complex on December 12th at the Terrace Theatre.

The evening, which will begin at 7:30 PM, will be hosted by Michael M. Kaiser, the president of The Kennedy Center. Prince was recently made the Kennedy Center's Artistic Advisor for Theatre, and is also the winner of a Kennedy Center Honoree National Medal of Arts.

Prince has garnered twenty Tony Awards (including two Special Tony Awards) for his work as a director and producer. Starting as a producer (with hits such as The Pajama Game, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), he made his directorial debut with A Family Affair. Prince, who is also known for his groundbreaking collaboration with Stephen Sondheim, both produced and directed Cabaret, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Pacific Overtures, Merrily We Roll Along and more. He directed On the Twentieth Century, Sweeney Todd, Evita, The Phantom of the Opera, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, the revival of Show Boat, Parade and more.

Tickets, which are now available, are $12. For more information, visit www.kennedy-center.org.
