Shreve & Co., the Bay Area's premier luxury retail jeweler, will display several historic pieces of Shreve craftsmanship, courtesy of the Petra and Greg Martin Collection, for limited time only. The Martins, proprietors of Martin Estate Winery, have generously lent several significant items from their personal collection for display at Shreve's San Francisco store. The display will only be available during the VIP reception this Wednesday, March 21st, from 6:30-8:30 PM, in honor of Shreve's 160th anniversary celebration.

This event is a one-time only opportunity to view these exquisite pieces. "We are so grateful to Petra and Greg Martin for allowing us to bring a piece of Shreve's history home for this momentous occasion," Shreve President Glen Ross says. "Our 160th anniversary reception is the perfect opportunity to showcase these incredible links to the past."

The historic items on display will include an impressive 1870s agate (onyx) and silver clock made by Shreve designers, depicting beautiful images of early California. Shreve will also showcase a turn of the century, sterling silver service set, including a platter, carafe and goblet, created by one of the original Shreve artisans. Lastly, on display will be a multitude of gold jewelry pieces manufactured by Shreve during the Gold Rush.
