Hagerty and Glover of 'Bette and Boo' To Guest On AP Radio

Julie Hagerty and John Glover, who are currently appearing as husband and wife in Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) Off-Broadway production of The Marriage of Bette and Boo, are featured on Associated Press Radio's On Broadway channel. AP Radio's On Broadway channel is an entertainment newsfeed and podcast. The interview is available beginning today, Wednesday, August 13th. Hagerty and Glover sat down with reporter Jane Waldman to discuss their roles in this dark comedy by Christopher Durang.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo is currently playing Off-Broadway at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46 Street).  This is a limited engagement through September 7th, 2008.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo is a dark comedy that takes a look at the complex marriage of Bette and Boo.  Three decades of marriage, divorce, alcoholism, nervous breakdowns and death – all blended in a unique mix of irony, humor and farce – are played out in 33 quick scenes.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo is directed by Walter Bobbie and features Terry Beaver (Father Donnally), Heather Burns (Emily Brennan), Victoria Clark (Margaret Brennan), John Glover (Karl Hudlocke), Kate Jennings Grant (Bette Brennan), Julie Hagerty (Soot Hudlocke), Adam LeFevre (Paul Brennan), Zoe Lister-Jones (Joan Brennan), Charles Socarides (Matt), Christopher Evan Welch (Boo Hudlocke).

The design team includes David Korins (Sets), Susan Hilferty (Costumes), Donald Holder (Lights) and Acme Sound Partners (Sound).

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

The Marriage of Bette and Boo plays Tuesday through Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
