The Harlem School of Arts Theatre Department presents MEDEA, Adapted, Directed and Designed by Artistic Director Alfred Preisser.
HSA's modernist interpretation fuses the spirit of the ancient play with a contemporary awareness of the plight of women living in dangerously sexist societies today. This not-to-be-missed production will feature the professional debut of student actors from HSA's Young Theatre Alliance Company, alongside professional actors from our faculty-actors KHALIL KAIN and TRACY JOHNSON are featured in the lead roles of Jason and Medea- for an evening of provoking drama, chanting and dance.
