A new literary comedic play comes to The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre that's bigger and better than you ever thought a show about books could be!

The show is a writing seminar that devolves into a dramatic play (like you'd see on Broadway except not good enough to be on Broadway which is why we're not doing it there) while still teaching the audience the elements of writing.

How To Write A Book: The Play. Date: Monday 10/16, Time: 8:00PM, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Chelsea. Address: 307 W. 26th St., New York, NY 10001. https://chelsea.ucbtheatre.com/show/6240

You'll be learning from two amazing writers with the guts to actually be alive. Colin O'Brien is a master of both the Self Help and Self-Harm genres. Michael Wolf is a pioneer in the erotic non-fiction genre. These two literary powerhouses will be your writing instructors for the evening and help you to become the writer you think you might be - but so far haven't shown any signs of becoming. Simply put, these two lords of the words are going to teach you how to finish your shitty novel in 30 minutes, you idiot!

Part seminar. Part broadway play. How To Write A Book: The Play is all the drama you can handle packed into one tragic comedy.
