The original cast recording of the family-friendly seasonal musical Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL is now available for pre-order, with the long-awaited release now set for October 29.

Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL is based on the classic Dr. Seuss book of the same name, conceived and directed by Jack O'Brien and featuring a score by Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason (with additional material by Albert Hague).

The official description of the new cast recording of Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL is as follows: "In Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small," decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos. The World Premiere Recording includes cast members from the original Broadway cast and features the hit songs "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the beloved original animated series, plus a bonus recording of Where Are You Christmas from the live action Grinch movie. With additional music and lyrics by Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical breathes new life into the timeless story of the true meaning of Christmas."

Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL played for limited engagements on Broadway in 2006 and 2007 as well as a return Off-Broadway in 2012. A national tour was produced in 2008, as well.
