Broadway's HIGH, starring Kathleen Turner, will close this Sunday, April 24. As of that date, it will have played 28 previews and 8 regular performances. HIGH is currently playing at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street).
Kathleen Turner, two-time Golden Globe® winner, Academy Award® & Tony Award® nominee stars as "Sister Jamison Connelly" in HIGH, a new play by Matthew Lombardo and directed by Rob Ruggiero. HIGH officially opened on April 19, 2011.
HIGH also features Stephen Kunken (Enron) as "Father Michael Delpapp" and Evan Jonigkeit as "Cody Randall".HIGH explores the universal themes of truth, forgiveness, redemption and human fallibility. When Sister Jamison Connelly (Turner) agrees to sponsor a 19 year-old drug user in an effort to help him combat his addiction, her own faith is ultimately tested. A $26.50 ticket will be reserved for the first row for all performances, for audience members ages 17-21. Interested ticket buyers can purchase these seats at the Booth Theatre box office only, the day of the performance. Limit of two tickets per person.
HIGH contains mature themes, strong language, and nudity. A parent or guardian will be required to accompany audience members under 14.
HIGH plays Tuesday - Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2:00 PM & Sunday matinee at 3:00 PM.
