HERO NEW YORK Releases Limited Edition 'Vintage Americana' Election Backpack

In partnership with Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, HERO NEW YORK releases limited-edition 'vintage Americana' election season backpack

HERO NEW YORK, a new backpack line that empowers youth to carry courage, released a limited-edition 'vintage Americana' backpack in partnership with Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Ten percent of proceeds support the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights 'Speak Truth to Power' education program.

We created the Speak Truth to Power curriculum to empower youth around the globe to stand up and speak out against injustice," said Kerry Kennedy, President of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights.

Based on the United Nation's principles of human rights education, the 'Speak Truth to Power' curriculum is taught to millions of students around the world. The program creates a global citizenry dedicated to the highest standards of justice and equality.

This partnership kicks off a greater giving initiative for HERO NEW YORK, which will address the United Nations' 17 sustainable development goals, in partnership with the One for All campaign led by PVBLIC Foundation, Mekanism, Creative Science Labs, Sharemeister and Exit 10, along with the United Nations. The 'vintage Americana' backpack falls under SDG 16: Promote Peace and Justice.

The limited-edition 'vintage Americana' line is available as a small backpack (fits an iPad), a large backpack (fits a 15" laptop) and a pencil case. It comes in two colors, navy or tan, with a star-spangled accent and rooibos red zipper pulls.

Only 100 backpacks of each color are available. To encourage youth to speak truth to power by voting, HERO NEW YORK is offering a 16% discount now through November 8th with the code 'VOTE2016.'
